Dr Amber Knott, ND Sarnia Naturopathic Doctor

Hello, welcome! I’m Amber, a registered Naturopathic Doctor in Sarnia, Ontario and providing virtual care across Alberta & Ontario since 2020. I have a passion for helping you get to the root cause of your health concerns. I take a very wholistic and evidence-based approach in my practice and greatly value and encourage integrative treatment.

I have a special interest in mindset and lifestyle medicine. Mindset medicine puts you in the drivers seat of your thoughts. How you think has the power to change your motivations and actions, which are key in harnessing lifestyle change. Lifestyle medicine includes diet, movement, mindfulness, sleep and rest.

I love creating & sharing information about health! Check out my freebies across social media platforms and on the blog. I am the author of Conscious Cooking, a recipe ebook designed to guide you toward eating a whole foods diet. The creator behind Mindset Medicine, an online course teaching mindset shifts to help you create and be consistent with healthy lifestyle changes. And creator of MelloWell, a whole foods recipe and clinical hypnosis membership.

Personal life

I am passionate about writing and sharing health articles and information online. I write about natural health therapies, mental health techniques, recipes, and more. Check out the freebies page and social media!

I have had the wonderful opportunity to volunteer with Naturopath’s Without Boarders providing naturopathic medicine to under-serviced populations in Haiti and Arizona. As well as a month long volunteer stay in Morocco supporting the education system.

I am so thrilled to be back with the community that raised me in Sarnia. My husband Scott Dainty is also a naturopath you might see around the office, he also works at Motus HEALTH. And on the rare occasion you may even see us at shift change handing off our son Bodhi.

I love reading, hiking, camping, extra flowy vinyasa flows, slow running, workouts with my family, knitting and crochet, getting creative in the kitchen and all things mindfulness, spirituality and self-growth!
